Trotters TV: creation and operation

Trotters TV was conceived and founded by Nicolas Beaubrun, a travel and tourism journalist. Under its signature “Le tour du monde de vos passions”, it brings together a television channel and a digital platform devoted to travel, discovery, culture and encounters.

The Trotters TV television service is declared to the French audiovisual regulator Arcom and operated by KD CLUB TV.

Intellectual property

Texts, photographs, videos, illustrations, logos and other published elements are protected by applicable intellectual property rules and belong to their respective rights holders. Reproduction, adaptation and use must respect these rights and obtain permission when required. Statutory exceptions remain applicable. Credits and rights notices must be preserved. Sharing links to pages and articles is permitted.

Editorial information and external links

Trotters TV seeks to publish accurate information. Prices, schedules, travel conditions and services may change after publication: check them with providers before booking. Commercial partnership content is identified as such. Linked third-party websites are the responsibility of their respective publishers.

Push notifications

Members can enable new-article notifications in their Trotters space after granting browser permission. Subscriptions are specific to each device and can be disabled in the same place. The technical identifier, encrypted delivery keys and language are stored to deliver alerts through the browser push service (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft). Expired and disabled subscriptions are removed. Push notifications are separate from the newsletter and audience measurement.

Personal data

KD CLUB TV is responsible for personal data processing associated with website features. Data may include your email, profile, article submissions, comments, interactions and form enquiries. Trotters directory details are published only when the member enables visibility. Badge application motivations and email addresses are not published in the directory. Do not post sensitive data in public areas.

Trotters space and interactions: accounts, sign-in and requested services, based on performance of the service. Published comments and author profiles are public.
Newsletter: emails sent with your consent until you unsubscribe using the email link or contact the editorial team.
Forms and article submissions: handling enquiries and editorial or partnership follow-up; depending on the request, pre-contractual steps or the editorial team’s legitimate interests.
Internal audience: aggregate page-view, article-open and quiz-game counters, solely to administer and improve Trotters TV. They operate without measurement cookies, visitor identifiers, fingerprinting or links to member accounts. No IP address, browsing URL, referral or device information is recorded in these statistics; individual journeys and unique visitors are not reconstructed. Counting requests are sent without sign-in cookies. Legacy events have been aggregated and their identifiers removed. Daily aggregates are retained for up to 25 months; anonymous content totals are retained for the lifetime of the content, with periodic review of their usefulness. These statistics are not combined with Google Analytics or used for advertising. Google Analytics: a separate measurement, activated only with your consent.

Data is accessible to authorised KD CLUB TV staff and service providers: Sites/OpenAI and Cloudflare for the platform, Supabase for authentication, Brevo for email, Google for consented analytics and embedded YouTube videos, and Infomaniak for live streaming. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Contact the publisher for applicable safeguards and details of retention for your account or enquiries.

You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction, exercise objection or portability rights where applicable, and withdraw consent without retroactive effect. Contact nicolasbeaubrun@trotterstv.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

Cookies and audience measurement choices

The website uses cookies and storage for sign-in, security and preferences (language and consent choice). The Trotters session cookie may last 30 days. Internal counters do not set or read measurement cookies. Google Analytics cookies are enabled only after acceptance; their configured lifetime is at most 395 days. The Google Analytics choice is requested again after six months. Google advertising features are disabled.

Use the “Google Analytics cookies” button to accept, decline or withdraw consent. Declining Google Analytics does not prevent access to articles and does not disable the aggregate internal counters described above. External YouTube and Infomaniak players may use their own technologies when loaded or used; their policies apply to these services.
